(Vacancy No. 15020403128) One hundred forty-seven Drugs Inspector in Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. (SC- 18, ST-13, OBC-38, UR-78). Of the One hundred forty-seven posts, three posts are permanent and remaining one hundred forty-four posts are temporary but likely to continue. Pay Scale: Rs.93,00-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,800 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs.29,187/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service, Group 'B', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. Age*: 30 yrs. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: A. EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE: Eighteen months' experience in the manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule 'C' to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945; or Eighteen months' experience in testing of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule 'C' to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 in a laboratory approved for this purpose by the licensing authority; or Three years' experience in the inspection of firms manufacturing any of the substances specified in Schedule 'C' to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 during the tenure of their service as Drugs Inspector. DUTIES: Duties and functions specified in Rules 51 and 52 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 include inspection of (i) all licensed drugs manufacturing establishments (ii) the plant and the process of manufacture, the means employed for standardizing and testing the drug, the methods and place of storage, the technical qualifications of the staff etc. which are likely to affect the potency or purity of the product, taking samples of drugs from premises of manufacturer/ dealers for test or analysis, (iii) investigation of cases of spurious drugs and related complaints and (iv) launching of prosecutions for breaches of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules. Education: A person who is appointed as inspector under the Act shall be a person who has Degree in pharmacy or Pharmaceuticals Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law.

Candidates will be selected by merit through exam.

Rules:

d. Any candidates, who have two or more living child and out of which one born after 26 Jan 2001, are not eligible,.
2. It will be responsibility of candidates to check for all eligibility criteria’s. Means, Candidate should check out for all rules and eligibility before applying for posts. At any point of time during selection, if candidate found un eligible then candidature will be terminated.
Selection method for the appointment
Candidates will be selected based on written examination.
Exam centre: Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Jagdalpur and Ambikapur
Exam method: Exam paper of 150 marks and 3.00 hour time period.
Evaluation Method: On every correct answer 1 marks will be given and on every wrong answer 1/4 marks will be deducted.
2. Candidates selection will be made based on merit prepared by selection committee. Candidate’s original documents will check by the controller, FDA. Candidates will terminate if found any errors in documents.
3. If there will found that any candidate provide amy political pressure or any other pressure, candidates application will be rejected.
4. On basis of application, candidate will not be eligible for recruitment. But eligibility will be decided on basis of essential processes/training/criteria’s.
5. If candidate will get same marks, eligibility will decide on age of candidate. Higher age will get first preference.
6. NO TA/DA will be provided.
7. If any dispute arises on above given vacancies, decision of controller FDA, new Raipur will be considered as final.
