• Degree with 5 years (or) Post-Graduation with three years experience in analytical testing of drugs, cosmetics and medical devices as per Drugs & Cosmetics Act will be given preference.
• Candidates with Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Analysis / Organic / Analytical Chemistry as one of the specialization in Post-Graduation will be given preference.
• Candidates having knowledge of CLP/ ICH/ISO guidelines will be given preference.
• The candidates shall also have sound knowledge of computer operation.

Job description : To perform analysis of Drugs, Cosmetics & Medical Devices. Maintenance and calibration of various analytical instruments. Maintenance of records as per GLP etc.. Any other duties assigned by the Head of Laboratory from time to time.

The Ranked list published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies reported to the Commission in writing during the period of the currency of the list.

Note : As per G.O(P)No.61/2012/SWD dated 17.10.2012, 3% of vacancies for the post shall be reserved for differently abled candidates with Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment. Canidates with Blindness/Low vision are not eligible to apply for this post.

7 Qualifications Degree in Pharmacy of a recognized University. Note:-

1. Direct Recruitees shall be on training for six months from the date of joining in service. Probation shall commence after successful completion of training.

2. Rule 10(a)ii of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.

3. Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications instead of qualification mentioned in the Notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.

4. In the case of difference in original Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered on SSLC book, the candidates shall produce Gazette notification in this regard,        along        with         Non        Creamy                   Layer Certificate/Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.

8. Mode of submitting Application:-

(a) Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken after 31.12.2010. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a post-Graduate Degree in Chemistry with pharmaceutics as essential subject of an University
  established in India by the Law or its equivalent qualification recognized and
  notified by the Central Government for such purpose or the Associateship Diploma
  of the Institution of Chemists (India) obtained by passing the Examination with
  “Analysis of Drugs and pharmaceuticals” as one of the subject.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Graduate in Medicine of an University recognized
  for this purpose by the appointing authority and has had at least one year’s postgraduate training in a laboratory under (i) a Government Analyst appointed under
  the Act, or (ii) a Chemical Examiner, or (iii) the head of an institution specifically
  approved for the purpose by the appointing authority;
  Provided that only those Inspectors:-
  (i) who have not less than 18 months experience in the manufacture of at least one
  of the substances specified in Schedule-C; OR
  (ii) who have not less than 18 months’ experience in testing of at least one of the
  substances specified in Schedule–C in a laboratory approved for this purpose, by the
  Licensing Authority; OR
  (iii) who have gained experience of not less than three years in the inspection of
  firm manufacturing any of the substances specified in Schedule-C appended to these
  rules during the tenure of their service as Drug Inspectors shall be authorized to
  inspect the manufacture of the substances mentioned in Schedule-C.

Desirable Qualification:-

Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for
appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh

Mode of Payment:-

may be, on or before the prescribed closing date for submission of online recruitment

OTHER CONDITIONS:-

1. All candidates, whether in Government Service or Government owned Industrial or Public

2. Contract/Casual/ adhoc / daily rated/ work charged employees do not need to produce NOC from the concerned employer.

3. In Government service (regular service) candidates may apply to the Commission along with requisite examination fees with information to their Head of Departments / Employer for issuing NOC. Any candidates, who are in regular Government Service or Government owned Industrial service, will not be interviewed unless he/she produces NOC from the concerned employer.

4. It may be ensured by the candidates before submitting the applications that furnishing of false information and documents or suppression of any factual information in the application form would entail disqualification. If the fact that false information / document(s) has been furnished or that there has been suppression of any factual information in the application; comes to the notice at any
time during the service of a person, his service would be liable to be terminated.
